Don't cross your eyes, they will stay that way. Don't crack your knuckles, you'll get arthritis. Old wives fables or is there truth in these? Well, there is no truth to the first parental caution. Now, if your child's eyes are crossing when they aren't trying to cross them, then a visit to the pediatrician and most likely the ophthalmologist is in order. Now regarding cracking knuckles, there is a bit of caution needed.
